When I saw what today’s WOD was going to be, I felt a bit guilty for not being able to come, so I did it at home.
Time: 27:13
As usual, I struggled with the upper body movements, but was still able to set a bit higher pace than last time. I realize now that a sub-20 minutes time is a pipe dream for now, so I’ll set my next goal a bit lower: next time, I shall complete the benchmark WOD in less than 23 minutes. Anyway I’m glad to see that I’m back to a better form than when we did it on July 10th.
I should note that I was on the road for 5 hours today, and I definitely felt that in the squats. I had to do those at a more leisurely pace than usual, which also slowed me down a bit.
Hope you guys and gals had fun, I sure didn’t ;)
Thanks for your report, Mirko. Consistency is key with CrossFit, as you already know of course. Would be great to see you around the gym a little more :-)
A warm welcome to Lee Ann, who put down an impressive time today on her very first benchmark workout. I have the feeling that she will be quite a challenge for many of our established students soon.
Thanks for the welcome! I enjoyed the benchmark — well I am not sure if this was true during the moment, but it was great to do. I am excited to be a part of the Crossfit Family! See you on Wednesday.
Also a warm welcome from me, Lee Ann! :-)
I did the workout with the pull-ups
Time 17:41
I set the time for my first bench mark at 30:40.
Let’s see in e few months!
